I arrived at 9:30 (half an hour after he opens his shop) and he was closed with a paper note on the door that said “be back at 10”.. i walked 45 minutes to this place so I could have a nice breakfast with my wife and young child. Only to find out we walked all that way for nothing. We waited for 15 minutes until My child started screaming and we had to walk all the way back home with empty stomachs. My wife and I both work 6 day weeks, today was our day off and it started off horribly. Thanks a lot

I am sorry that was your experience. I realized that I did not get my Philly Muffin bread delivery and ran to the market to get some so that I could actually prepare breakfast sandwiches. I was gone for 20 minutes from 9:38 to 9:58 on that errand. FYI this was the last weekend for the cafe. We are permanently closed now.

I gave it 4 stars because whenever I go running early in the day and need water, they are right there. Also, I love community places like this. You can lounge outside, order a snack or sandwiches and just chill. Their coffee though, I don't know if it's because I make my own coffee which tends to be strong and full bodied why I judged everyone else's coffee so harshly but......they could definitely try to improve the quality of their coffee. Their dark roast was light af, like not enough coffee added for brewing light. Yeah, I'll stick to the water and occasional iced tea
