This restaurant was recommended by a chef of another restaurant on the island so we decided to give it a try. We have been there a few times and have always had excellent service and enjoyed our meals . It has an easy laid back atmosphere and has become a quick go to when we just don't feel like cooking.

Was on vacation at Oak Island with the family. This place was recommended. We wanted seafood. Man this place was good. Nice atmosphere friendly staff. They probably thought we were crazy there was a out 10 of us including my grandbabies. I have the mahi and shrimp combo with a order of Blackend scallops. Everything was perfect. I had jt blackend. Everyone else loved their food too. Some of out part indulged in a nice blue drink called.mermaid water they were a hit. I have been to bigger and more expensive seafood places and this was the best. Great food I will be going back when I return to Oak Island Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Shrimp Cocktail, Fresh Catch, Coconut Shrimp, Hush Puppies

We have been on a mission to try every bar/restaurant in Southport and Oak Island since moving here in June. Today we resumed at the Tranquil Harbour Restaurant & Bar for lunch. We were happy to find adequate parking. Then we were fortunate to have Faith as our server. My wife and I are in agreement that she is perhaps thee best server we have met yet. She was a true pleasure to meet. On top of being equally friendly and polite, she was exceptionally thorough. To the point we believe she may have been clairvoyant. She brought items to our table before we could ask. The food. OMG the food. Buffalo Dip, wings and burgers. Yep. We tried them all. Awesome. Though we obviously couldn't finish our meal, we of course HAD to take 2 pieces of cheesecake home along with our leftovers. We did not partake in any adult beverages but we are certainly going to return and do so next time. We loved the decor, both inside and out. Definitely a winner. Thank you.
