I generally enjoy Tratto when I go. It irritates me I feel they rush you in by forcing a full order at the outset, no appetizer, bread...must order it all. Being "rushed" to order is a mixed blessing as the room gets VERY LOUD as the evening progresses. Overall, the waitstaff is inconsistent. Previous visit the server could barely answer basic menu questions. Last night, server was well educated on menu nuances. Menu is the SAME for years. We've been in the Valley 5 years, been to Tratto a dozen or more times... will probably slow down to once a year. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

The best pasta. The best vinaigrette. The best wine. The best bartender (Ash). This will be my standard in Phoenix when I’m here. Don’t miss out what Chris Bianca has created for you. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $90–100

Super yummy food - we had bread, ricotta, & honey - the little gem salad - cacio & pepe, salmon, and a side of green beans. It was elevated but, simple and delicious. My only qualm was the AC was broken - 115 outside and the fans were not enough. I'm 7 months pregnant and we rushed the meal in and out in an hour - if the AC was working I'm sure we could have taken our time and enjoyed the experience more. I do feel like they could have done something to comp customers - two tower fans and an in unit isn't enough for a restaurant with an exposed kitchen and again Arizona summer.
