After you have seen Ile de frioul, come to this restaurant. The key aspect of Trattoria Marco is the Italian cuisine. Do not leave without eating nicely cooked terrine, pate and filet américain. You can order tasty parfait, fruitcake and tiramisu. It might be cool to try delicious limoncello, wine or absinthe. This place is famous for great coffee.

Select between indoor and outdoor seating. The high ratings of this place would be impossible without the courteous staff. Fast service is something that people note in their reviews. More than 1 hour wait to be served. Bad faith from the waiter who claims that we arrived last (which is false) hence the wait, barely apologizing, when he purely and simply forgot us. More than 30 minutes of waiting for the order to be taken, then he asks us for our order again 20 minutes after we had already placed it. We ended up eating in an empty room, the rest of the service having finished!! The burrata of the pizza of the same name is actually mozzarella (or was there a mistake in the dish???), the chicken supreme is without mushrooms, the grilled zucchini are glazed. Arriving at 1:15 p.m. we left at 3 p.m. without having had dessert (nor hanging out after the meal). The icing on the cake: when paying the bill, the waiter increases the price of the dishes. Pointing this out to him, he pretends not to understand until I put the restaurant menu under his nose. A real shame!! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Awesome dinner and great service! We arrived just after opening for dinner service and without a reservation, but they were able to get us in on the patio. Very friendly staff, several of which were able to speak english and help translate the menu for us. We started with the Antipasti with Prosciutto, Buffalo Mozzarella, Arugula salad and Bruschetta, which was more than enough for an entree for 2. The proscuitto was delicious and the mozzarella light and creamy. With the complimentary bread, olive oil and balsamic, it was all amazing. For the mains, my wife had the Tuna with smoked mozzarella and eggplant and I chose the stuffed Cannelloni. Both were wonderful - great tasting and generous portions. To end the meal, I had the Tiramisu Speculoos and my wife the Café Gourmand. Both were incredible - the best Tiramisu I've had hands down, and the lemon meringue tart on the gourmand was a perfect balance of tart and sweet.
With a 1/2 litre of rose, the meal came to a reasonable 82 euros. And to top off a wonderful dinner, they brought us complimentary limoncello shots!
We're here in Marseille for 3 nights only, but even so we might very well come back to Trattoria Marco again to enjoy a second dinner. Thank you for the amazing meal!
