Trattoria Martin, located in the charming village of Champlas Seguin near Cesana Torinese, is a fine dining spot that specializes in mountain cuisine. The ambiance is warm and intimate, with rustic decor that adds to the charm of the establishment. The interior design is well-curated, with attention paid to every detail. The price range is slightly higher than competitors, but the quality of the food more than justifies the cost.
One of the standout dishes on the menu is the tajarin ai funghi porcini, a delicious pasta dish featuring fresh porcini mushrooms. The polenta, a house specialty, is also highly recommended and comes with a variety of toppings including pork, sausage, cheese, and deer. For starters, the tartare is a must-try, while the mixed starter plate offers a great value for those looking to sample multiple dishes.
Trattoria Martin also boasts an extensive wine list, with a variety of local and regional wines available. Cocktails and soft drinks are also available for those who prefer non-alcoholic options.
The location of Trattoria Martin is simply breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. In the summer months, outdoor seating is available, allowing diners to fully appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
Overall, Trattoria Martin is a must-visit establishment for those looking to experience traditional mountain cuisine in a charming and intimate setting.

Very well-kept location, friendly and efficient service. Good wine list and availability of gluten free dishes. Prices a little above average, but it's worth it! Truly a great experience. Genuine cuisine like that of the past in a welcoming environment with exposed brick vaults. Quality food, excellent service and lots of courtesy. Bagna cauda without garlic is truly excellent (said by a distrustful Piedmontese) and the cheese wheel is stratospheric. Absolutely worth the trip. I will return and recommend it.
