Here we had one of the best Pasta Carbonara along the VdF, maybe even the best. Flavorful, with alot of crunchy pieces of pork. It was recommended to us by the doorman at Grande Albergo Quattro Stagioni just opposite the street, which also granted us a discount.

Apart from the excellent food and great service... We arrived in Rieti on foot while on pilgrimage on Easter Sunday at around 15:00. The city was deserted, and few places were open. Those that were, were closing after a busy Easter lunch. Trattoria La Volta not only welcomed us, but gave us the full treatment, even though we were tired and sweaty and not looking terribly presentable. I must also mention that all the guests eating at the restaurant were welcoming and smiling at us, even though we looked like we had just come out of the sewers. Thank you all :) Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
