We had dinner here last night. After reserving a table by phone, we were very cordially welcomed by the owner Alessandro Tucci by name. We had an appetizer, first course, two second courses, side dish, glasses of two different wines and the famous tartufi. Every thing we had was top quality and the service attentive and impeccable. As local Romans, we had been a little wary of eating on a famous piazza, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, service, and prices in the norm for the center of Rome. There are some negative reviews on here, but they were most probably left for the place next door that has a very similar name and appears more prominently in Google searches. Would not recommend. Waitors are very slow and give the impression your presence is a hindrance - no smile, no check-in to ensure you are enjoying your food etc I ordered the Rigatoni, my partner ordered the lasagna - both tasted the same; same bland plain tomato taste that you can get from a supermarkets own range. The lasagna had next to no meat in it and no Béchamel sauce. He left most of it and the waiter just took it away, didn't ask any questions. The only positive is the area the restaurant is located but there are many different, better options to choose from. Price per person: €20–30
