This was truly an incredible experience. Our server was so knowledgeable and we loved her tea recommendations. Every item on each tier was thoughtful and created with care. As a huge High Tea fan, Cape Arid is an absolute must! From the beautiful exterior of the Treasury Building to the inside decor and set up! The service was attentive, knowledgable and professional. The food was absolutely delicious as well as incredibly filling! For visitors to Perth or locals wanting a special experience, book your High Tea today! I have to say the food is nice, and the whole vibe in the room is enjoyable. I probably would recommend Cape Arid to others if following did not happen. We were not expected being asked to finish and leave or takeaway any leftover in 30 mins after 1 hour dining from the start（i.e we started eating at 12:34pm), when we were just half way through the whole session. The reason given was the table we were sitting was reserved for others. Please note that there were so many vacant seats during that time. I took all sweets with me, and walking back home under 37 degree weather. The end of the story is, all cakes were warm and melting - not eatable at all. I was thinking to return later with my other friends or even hold an event with Cape Arid, but after this, I will not bring anyone with me to here again as I don’t want to be told off and asked to leave without finishing or rushing to finish everything. This is disturbing and unpleasant. I am posting this on the Google review as I think everyone should expect this kind of thing could happen when dining in Cape Arid Rooms.
