Come to this place and try Thai cuisine. It's a pleasant experience to order perfectly cooked chicken, fish and prawns. You can listen to live music in the evening. The gracious staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The fast service demonstrates a high level of quality at this restaurant. Reasonable prices are what you will pay for your meal. It's a good place with the lovely atmosphere. Tree House Restaurant is ranked 4 within the Google grading system.

The food was pretty poor. After several weeks traveling I wanted something western so I ordered the curry wurst, a favorite of mine. It was just a sausage with a minimal drizzle of quite bland sauce, and only 10 or so fries. I ordered Apple Struddle for dessert and asked for it to be hot. Evidently they heated it in the microwave which made the pastry soggy, which was the least of my problems. The filling was bland and not sweet enough, and the whole thing tasted like cardboard. The venue looks lovely and they had a singer so the atmosphere was ok, although they assume you're staying at the hotel across the road. DECENT PUB-STYLE CAFE ON KATA NOI ROAD Part of the Katathani resort complex, this casual cafe offers a simple menu of western and Thai dishes. Doesn't have the sophistication of the other resort eateries and has a distinct pub feel. Service is fairly prompt and - like the other resort eateries - you can charge back to your account. It's the kind of place you'd go for a quick (and cheaper) meal or for a few drinks. Fully open air and on the opposite side of Kata Noi road to the main resort complex. Clientele tend to be a bit more boisterous than other cafes. Staff polite and responsive but not quite as polished as other venues. Price per person: ฿600–800 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
