The Most Awful Pasta I Have Ever Eaten!!! This was, without exaggeration, the worst pasta I have ever eaten in my life. I ordered a simple Aglio e Olio with one bottle of water and was charged CHF 31.30. What I received was, without exaggeration, the most awful pasta I have ever eaten in my life. The pasta was severely overcooked, broken, and mushy. The olive oil was completely separated and pooling on the plate, with no emulsification whatsoever. There was no proper garlic aroma, no balance, no technique — just oil and ruined pasta. This was not a matter of personal taste; it was a clear technical failure. Charging over CHF 30 for a dish this poorly executed is simply unacceptable, even by Swiss standards. Aglio e Olio is one of the most basic pasta dishes, and if a restaurant cannot execute this correctly, it raises serious concerns about their kitchen standards. Extremely disappointing. I used to go to treff, when i lived in bern city back in 2018- 2021.. i always had tasty quality food.. but the last time we went.. it was't that good.. the rice was served in 5 mins! what makes it impossible to prepare fresh food in such small time period. And the food was bland.. the glas my coke was served, smelled horrible (eggish).. I was really disappointed.. since i always had so many good memories there.. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 40–50
