Absolutely outstanding lunch at Trio Ristorante Pizzeria on Yonge Street in Toronto. My wife, daughter and I came in for lunch today and everything from the food to the service was exceptional. Our server John was above excellent incredibly attentive, friendly and professional without ever being overbearing. He was always there exactly when we needed something and genuinely made the entire experience better. This is the kind of service that makes you want to come back to a restaurant. The food was spectacular. We had pizza, pasta and mushroom risotto, and everything was fresh, flavourful and beautifully prepared. The wood-fired pizza was excellent, the pasta and tomato sauce were fantastic, and the mushroom risotto was rich, creamy and perfectly cooked. You can tell there is real care going into the food here. We finished lunch with the lava cake, which was the perfect ending to an already excellent meal. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian restaurant in Toronto, especially around Yonge and Lawrence, I would absolutely recommend Trio Ristorante Pizzeria. Great Italian food, excellent pizza and pasta, a comfortable atmosphere and genuinely exceptional service. John deserves special recognition one of the best servers we’ve had in a long time. We will absolutely be back. 5 stars. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $30–40
