Came here two nights whilst staying at the hotel. Chicken burger: was overcooked and dry. Nice cucumber and mint relish/sauce but felt a bit at odds with chicken for me. But was fine. Beef burger: was alright but I ordered squid as a starter and they both arrived at the same time. Which meant the burger was quite cold by the time I got to the end of it. Small range of beers and no real ale or bitter option really unfortunately. Long waits at times at the bar and bar staff not really attentive to an order. Three times I sat back down and waited for the queue to settle as I had been stood there and kept getting pushed in front of for large orders from golf chaps. Some quiet spaces tucked around corners. Some TVs for sport. Fake plants on tables. It's ok I think for what it is but I think it could be more and not really in keeping with the vibe of a 4* hotel. Feels like a golf clubhouse (which it sort of is!). Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
