Luz was our server and let me just start off how BOMBBBBB this food was. We got the Mofongo steak and Mangu ... AMAZING!!!!! Mouth watering goodness. No wonder why it takes it time. It's the art of the cuisine. The drinks.. WOW get the pineapple mojito Best experience !

Came to San Diego for a day and decided to check out Tropical Savor Bar & Grill given the fact that there are no Dominican restaurants in Los Angeles (real tears). This place has authentic dishes, delicious drinks and of course great hospitality. I had the sancocho and my fiance had the mangu both were amazing. If you are ever in the area or if you are like my fiance and are homesick and in need of some authentic Dominican food... check this place out... yes, it's a drive for us Angelenos but if you are in the area... check it out!!
