Report incorrect information
I was skeptical when this monster of a restaurant opened in my quaint little piece of the country side, but they quickly won me over. Spent many nights sipping the fabulous Mex Marts and watching Spurs games at the enormous marble top bar. One of the few places to get a drink after 10 pm in the area.
I've always had a great experience with the food. My fav is the Chicken Fajita Queso Enchiladas but classic Trudys standards like the honey Cholula chicken and fried avocado hold up to par as well. Service is mostly local college kids but trudys has a very strict service standard and they've always been great. I've heard the brunch is amazing as well.
They told me my wheelchair was a fire hazard and that's why I had to wait an hour and every person that came in after me was seated before me.
All of our guests raved about how wonderful the food from Trudy's was, specifically noting how wonderful the fresh-made corn tortillas were!
Our catering guru, Coco, was knowledgeable and in constant communication to let us know what was going on with her end of the food dealings. She was able to make adjustments and recommendations for us as needed.
Now, anytime we go through Austin, Trudy's is one of our main stops!
