Alright, so I finally made it to Fuji at Mall of Lifestore Bangkapi the other day. It's been a while since I've hit up a Fuji, and this one seemed pretty standard for the chain. You know the drill the familiar dark wood, the pictures of all the dishes plastered on the walls. I got seated pretty quickly, which was a plus. The menu, as always, is HUGE. Seriously, trying to decide what to eat at Fuji can feel like a small life decision. They've got everything from your classic sushi and sashimi to tempura, donburi, and all sorts of noodle dishes. I ended up going for a Sashimi, tempura soda, and other items. The food was mind-blowing. The sashimi was fresh and nicely displayed. The set came with rice, miso soup, and a little side salad with that slightly tangy dressing they always have. The miso soup was decent, nothing special. Service was well, it was efficient. My order was taken promptly, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The staff were polite and warmth and personality welcoming. The price point is what you'd expect from Fuji – not super cheap, but not outrageously expensive either. You're paying for a reliable, consistent Japanese meal in a comfortable setting. Overall, my experience at Fuji in Mall of Lifestore Bangkapi was pretty much what I anticipated. It's a solid option if you're craving familiar Japanese food and you're in the mall. It's a dependable choice when you just want a reliable plate of your Japanese favorites. Would I rush back? Maybe not, but if I was in the area and had a craving, it's a safe bet.
