Truss is pretty near KOIN Building. Many people visit this bar to taste perfectly cooked omelettes, bacon and scrambled eggs. You can share tasty fruit toasts and good egg waffles with your friends and have a good time here. Try delicious coffee or great juice.
Service at Truss is something one can name terrific.

From Beginning to end the service was great and the food delicious. The breakfast buffet was fabulous and the omelette bar was spot on with a great selection and wonderful chef (I believe her name was Denise) she was very friendly and made perfect omelettes. Our waiter also did a great job keeping our drinks filled and needs attended. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a very nice relaxing brunch with your family.

It said Mother’s Day brunch. Which to me means breakfast and lunch items. It was all breakfast and some cakes. Price be in for Mother’s Day $45 . And I believe that breakfast in the morning is $26. A little mark up because of Mother’s Day.

I booked this restaurant for Mother’s Day. The ambience is lovely and we were greeted by pleasant individuals who were very welcoming. It went down hill from there. The bill came to $195 for 5 adults. The brunch buffet was limited in choices and was much like the continental breakfast at a Best Western or Hampton Inn. Which is good but not $40 dollars a person good! Mimosas were in a pre-made pitcher that seemed to be mostly, if not all, orange juice. And they were not refilled for me, although she did refill two glasses at our table, but not all of our glasses for some reason. I believe they advertised Mother’s Day Brunch as bottomless mimosas or something like that so the stinginess of the questionable “mimosas” seems like false advertising. No other beverage options were shared with our table and we were not asked if we wanted anything other then questionable “mimosas”. The server was less then personable and plopped the tab down in the middle of the table while we were still eating, about 40 minuets from when we sat down. Overall I would not recommend Truss at the Marriott in Portland Oregon. Period.
