After seeing Adams Morgan, it may be a good idea to visit this bar. Tasting perfectly cooked chicken wraps, almond latte and cheese salads is what many clients advise. Enjoy good apple pie, chocolate cheesecakes and cheese croissants at Tryst when you happen to be near it. Delicious craft beer, house wine or bitter are worth a try here. Degust great dark coffee, matcha or lavender latte.
You can listen to live music in the evening. The success of this place would be impossible without the attentive staff. Enjoyable service is something that guests note in their reviews. Prices are found democratic here. You will certainly like the comfortable atmosphere and terrific decor. In the Frommer's expert opinion, this spot deserves 1 star and is recommended for visiting.

Been here about 20 times because of the great atmosphere and decent food. But the service is so bad that I decided I won’t be coming back. The servers are nice enough, but it takes WAY too long to get table service or get your check. It just sours the entire experience when I have to spend 20 minutes trying to flag down my server. Came here a few years back and I remember this was one of my favorite places in Adam’s Morgan. The cannoli and the brownie paired with the drink was wonderful and the ambiance of the cafe made it quite a pleasant place to rest after exploring the surrounding. Hope to visit her again soon! Had an incredibly rude interaction with a member of the staff at Tryst this weekend. I came in with a friend to grab lunch and get some work done. I brought in a can of seltzer water not realizing the no outside food or beverage policy and had just opened it when someone came to take our order. After placing our food orders, the server mumbled something, all of which we could make out was a comment about the trash can. They came back with our food and noticed that I still had my water out and proceeded to scold me, saying “I told you multiple times that you’re not allowed to have that in here and you have to throw it out.” This was literally the second time they’d said anything, and considering they were unintelligible the first time, I’d consider it to be the first warning. After their condescending remark, I went to throw my full can in the garbage and was hesitant to do so since it was still full and I wanted to be considerate of throwing liquid in the trash. They noticed me loitering around the trash can and asked if I “needed a cup or something” to which I said no and asked if there was a place I could dump the water. They said no and told me to throw the whole thing into the trash. I understand businesses’ policies regarding outside food and drink, but to have acted in such a way over a can of sparkling water, and not to mention the fact that both my friend and I bought a meal, is extremely unprofessional and reflects poorly on the café.
