Tsumugi-ya, located about a 5-minute walk from Shingu City Station, is an izakaya where you can enjoy local ingredients. When you come to Kumano Shingu, you'll definitely want to visit the dragonfly. The menu is filled with fresh seafood from the Pacific Ocean. Apparently, whitebait can also be caught off the coast of Shingu, and the kamaage was really delicious. Also, if you want a radish salad, I recommend the Caesar salad. It's the perfect combination with other Japanese dishes.
