This stylish rooftop destination serves up fresh Japanese cuisine, inventive specialty sushi rolls, and craft cocktails. Creative roll combinations, fresh nigiri, seared tuna, and grilled ribeye skewers headline an expansive menu. Sleek modern decor, a lively full bar, and riverfront views offer a trendy atmosphere. A/C is not working. Owners apparently know and don’t care. Sitting down sweating to eat and paying full price ain’t it boss. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: $90–100

We apologize for the inconvenience we have to work in this heat every day. The Shaw Center is responsible for our AC they are aware of the issue. I have personally called them every single week. Tsunami does not own the 6th floor. LSU owns the entire building.

What a pleasant surprise to be right across the street from the lovely "Tsunami Sushi Baton Rouge". Their "Big Easy sushi roll and Kimchee Collard Greens" was delicious. It was Happy Hour and they had martinis for $6 but I got this cocktail called the "Haiku" with "Hibiscus Tequila Yuzu & Cucumber" I think which was divine. The atmosphere was great and the rooftop seating had absolutely gorgeous views of the Mississippi River. I'll definitely come back again soon.
