The food was very good, except for one person in our group who, like all others, received the Picaña as a main dish. It was overcooked and tough though, while others, like myself, received two rounds of meat cooked to perfection. The ceviche we got as an appetizer was a beautiful combination of tangy-citrusy taste and a slight kick from the chili. The fish was also "perfectly executed," though I can only tell from secondhand accounts. As for the dessert, I couldn't enjoy the goat cheese and vanilla ice cream that much, but that's because I just don't like those ingredients very much. The service, on the other hand, was awesome. The personnel were so attentive and right there to help whenever needed. Also the incense smell was rather distracting and unpleasent to me. In summary though I really liked my dinner here at Tulia. My impression is the whole place needs to push RESET - by which i mean all 3 establishment run by the same guys. but more precisely Trulia, the mid-range place where we ate. Food was partly OK, partly poor: Lobster casserole with lots of cheese and a creamy base - too heavy, kills the fine lobster, which in addition had some pretty chewy parts. Best starter was unexpectedly 6 slices of truly good tomato with a nice pesto. The whole evening we were only 3 tables (out of 15 or so), on a Saturday night! The wine list show poor choice, they need to rethink their sommelier. Anyhow, i wish them luck. The complex is architectonically interesting - albeit the accoustics also need some rethink.
