The Turbotville Public House is a fine dining spot that offers a diverse cuisine type, including inventive appetizers, seafood specials, and steak dinners. The establishment boasts a family-style atmosphere and a modern bar area that serves craft beers, specialty whiskeys, and cocktails at a little too pricey rates. The place could use a cosmetic upgrade, but the outside area is lovely and perfect for parties. The staff is accommodating, friendly, and always ready to make recommendations.

The menu features exceptional dishes such as the broiled seafood combo, the cheese steak with American cheese, and the veal porterhouse. The bacon-wrapped scallops and the homemade chips with sauce are delicious appetizers. The seafood chowder, chili, and seafood combo are fantastic takeout options. The portions are generous, and the food is always fresh and cooked to perfection.

The Turbotville Public House is located in Turbotville, Pennsylvania, and is a hidden treasure in the area. The establishment has a historic ambiance that attracts history buffs. The place also features an outdoor patio that will soon have a roof, making it an excellent spot for drinks and meals.

In addition to the outstanding food, the Turbotville Public House offers excellent service, live music, and daily specials. The owner, Nate, and his staff are friendly, personable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure their guests have an amazing experience.

Overall, the Turbotville Public House is a must-visit establishment in the area, with its exceptional cuisine, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere.

Me and my family decided to get wings here this evening, and that was the absolute worst idea. We had dinner reservations for 6 pm and arrived on time. Our waitress took some time to get to our table and get out drinks. I didn't mind that because the places looked busy. We ordered our food at 6:10 pm, 6:15 at the latest. As time when by, I couldn't help but notice other people getting their food before us when we sat and ordered before them. Around 6:50Pm, she comes back and says, "Sorry for the wait, but it will be longer." At that point, I was displeased that almost 45 minutes later, and our food was still not ready. I then asked her if she could go back and see exactly how much longer we would have to wait. A minute or two later, she comes back and says she doesn't know how long. How is that even possible? I wondered. We have been waiting already for more than 40 mins. I asked, "What was the cause for the holdup?" "she replied," i don't know." At that time, I decided to get up and leave with my family. This was a horrible experience, and I will never come back to this establishment or recommend it to anyone. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

We do apologize but wing night does get very busy and we only have two fryers. There's a bar side and a dining room side and to go orders that are usually placed days in advance for Mondays. Honestly, and hour to and hour and a half is about par for the corse. We just don't believe in parking our wings and then holding them until they're overcooked and terrible. In all honesty though it wouldn't be any better on any other day. From start to finish when an order comes in we bred them and fry them to order which usually takes a minimum of 40 minutes without any crowd whatsoever. Aside from Full dinners on the weekends wings are definitely the longest cook time because of all of this.

Sat. 5/6/23 was the first time I had dinner at Turbotville Public house while visiting my sis & bro-in-law who live close to the restaurant. They highly recommended it, and I wanted to treat them to dinner for their 45 yr. Anniversary. I must say it was the best meal I have had in a long time. I had the colossal haddock dinner with a side of Cole slaw & tater tots. The portions were large, reasonably priced and most important were delicious! I had a peach sour as my drink after reading reviews about it online, and they were right. It was very good! My sis also had haddock, tater tots & side of fried Brussel sprouts. She loved her meal also & adored the delicious Brussel sprouts! My bro in law had the cheesesteak hoagie & tater tots. He said it was the best he ever had. We were shocked my how big it was. Lol. I wish I remember our servers name. She was outstanding & a great asset to this fabulous restaurant. She had long blond hair. Best server from any place I have been to. Attentive but did not hover & was very pleasant. We were also greater by a very nice hostess. The ambiance of the place was very inviting & tastefully decorated. We ate inside, but on my next visit, we plan on eating at the outdoor patio, which looked beautiful ! I rarely leave reviews but had to about this hidden gem. I will definitely be back every time I visit the area ! Thank you for great service & fabulous food ! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
