The Turmstüberl has been the bar for a cozy evening drink for decades. Having become an institution under Leo, the new management that now runs the place is also a good one - a few new types of beer on tap, but the Turmstüberl remains the place of choice for a cozy getaway. As always, the selection of dishes is manageable. But the beef tartare is still as good as ever. May the Turmstüberl remain as it was and is for the next 30 years. Parking: Downtown Villach - there are actually no parking spaces available at the restaurant. Only near the town hall, Parkhotel, Italian Street, Interspar or down along the Drau. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is not suitable for children. Not that they are treated unkindly. But small, cramped, beer, wine, only snacks. Of course there are also soft drinks. But the restaurant clearly has a focus on adults. Going down the stairs with a stroller would be the first real hurdle. Wheelchair accessibility: Not barrier-free. Even the narrow staircase would be a hurdle. Everything is tight inside too.
