FYI, this business has closed permanently. We were there 3 weeks ago & it's gone. After speaking to some friends in the area, we found out that one of the owners had a stroke & since it was owned & run by 2 brothers, they were forced to shut down. Very sad--they had a really good thing going & we sure will miss them.

Stayed at an Airbnb nearby and they recommended it. I would have to agree with them. Food was great and staff was super friendly.

There aren't many restaurants in the kings canyon and surrounding areas but we found a good one in Twins Valley BBQ. Just about everything we ordered was some of the best BBQ Matt's had in California. That usually might not mean much but the dishes were truly top quality. The hush puppies were as light as air. Perfectly flavored with the green onion. Amazing. The ribs were falling off the bone. We didn't even need teeth to eat them. Great sweet and savory flavors. The owner said after they're smoked and then steamed slightly in apple juice. The collards were tender and had huge chunks of pork in it. The coleslaw was great too. Not too vinegary and not too much mayo. Perfect side for bbq. We also had a ribeye which was cooked to perfection. The chilli could have been a tiny bit spicier but it had really good depth of flavour. A small amount of beans (which I like) and big chunks of meat. There was only one person serving and he was doin a damn good job. The restaurant was 2 min from our Airbnb in Dunlap. Couldn't have asked for a better meal. This meal gets a very rare 5 stars from me for checking off literally every box that I have.
