Nicely cooked mushrooms, fillet steaks and salmon risotto may be what you need. The chef at this steakhouse cooks tasty sweet risotto and good cheesecakes. You will hardly forget delicious wine that you can find. This place is known for great coffee.

My wife and I celebrated our 50th anniversary dinner at Twisted Steak this evening (07/27/24). We decided on the seafood platter for two and it was incredible. Our waitress also provided exception service Thank you for the 5 star meal, and service

Unfortunately the food was below mediocre. I don’t usually write a review but i do look them up before going to a new restaurant so i thought to write this so other will have a chance to decide. The staff were nice and we had reservations as it was Father’s Day - we saw it was busy as we were through Kamloops and thought to try this place. We ordered the dry aged Rib Eye——as medium —arrived as medium well. We had asked for another then it came out blue rare - our appetizers were not even warm as we had ordered escargots —-the Caesar salad was with a lot of dressing. The server and manager apologized, however we wont be back nor recommend. As it was getting late —-we went back to the hotel to eat.

Great menu with lots of choice for a steak restaurant. I was delighted with the apple beet goat cheese salad, and my partner liked the not too big French Onion soup that was made as it should be. Our main dishes came with nicely firm roasted vegetables, mine had a good mushroom risotto and the stuffed potato was as expected for my partner. Our server was good, and remembered to bring back the pepper grinder for our main course. The steaks were less than stellar though. The Flat Iron was not as tender as it should have been, but the Green Peppercorn sauce was excellent. The New York steak was non existent. I got a poorly butchered tough piece of bottom sirloin steak, that was passed off as a New York steak. It seems that someone on staff in the kitchen is working the system. For a steak restaurant, meat should be The priority. Our waiter did not check back in time to do anything about what we were served. We were offered a reduction on the bill when we explained the meat issue. It was appreciated, but a good New York steak would have been better!
