Unfortunately, our experience at Twisted Tomato was very disappointing. We waited over an hour for our food, and only after we had already been waiting that long were we told they were out of one of the sides we ordered. The buffalo wings were so incredibly hot that our son couldn’t eat them, and he normally enjoys spicy food. They were literally burning his lips. The filet was ordered medium and came out much closer to well done. The biggest issue was the lack of communication about the wait. We were told the delay was due to several large parties. We work in customer service ourselves and completely understand that restaurants can get overwhelmed, but if the kitchen was that backed up, expectations should have been set when we ordered. They could have let us know about the extended wait or even suggested appetizers while we waited. By the time the food finally arrived, we had waited so long that sending anything back didn’t feel like an option. What ended up being nearly a two-hour meal with teenagers, who would have been perfectly happy with an oven pizza at home, was extremely disappointing. With the exclusion of the ac vent dripping on me constantly, running out of spirits we started out with, employees crying and the busy ness the food was good but the experience was nothing to write home about. Think it’s got too big to handle and a little out of touch with the guest experience. Was good just not pleasant. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: $40–50

Amber Lynn was a wonderful server for our first time at Twisted Tomato Blue Ridge!! She was so kind and knowledgeable and really was a pleasure as a server!! Our dinner was delicious and we will certainly be back soon!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100
