Are you open?. I've visited Two Brothers a number of times and the food has been fantastic. The fish has been grilled to perfection and the flavours have been long lasting but one thing that i can not get over with Two Brothers is the fact that they are never open. They advertise as being closed on mondays which is a fair request as they are open every other night, or are they? There has been a few times where we have driven down to get dinner and they have been completely closed on a day where they are advertised to be open, (last night, tuesday, 6.30pm). I do understand closing early if its quiet but when you only open at 5pm and are completely closed by 6.30....? how do you know its going to be quiet when you close before dinner?

But other than that when Two Brothers is actually open the food is AMAZING!

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant tonight but myself & 3 friends were very dissappointed. The menu is quite small & that is fine until the waitress informs us that 3 of the 6 main meals are unavailable-it is 7pm & it's Saturday night? My husband ordered a beer off the list only to be told they had ran out of that as well. Because most of the fish meals were unavailable we decided to order a selection of entrees to share. None were special. We were told there were 4 prawns in the chilli prawns & only 3 came out & still had full shells. We won't be rushing back.

Fresh and a litte different. A friend and I had dinner here last night. My friend had the grilled snapper and fries and I had 3 little plates. The latter option is a great if you're not sure what you feel like eating or you want to sample a few dishes on the menu, and at $25 it's good value.

I opted for the grilled prawns, the white anchovies and the salt and pepper squid, all of which were accompanied by sauces and the anchovies came with toasted sourdough. The seafood and accompaniments tasted fresh and the servings were generous. I had a glass of wine and my friend had a cider. I believe BYOB is allowed a couple of days a week.

The décor is simple and modern with indoor and some outdoor seating and our waitress was very pleasant.
