What a find! When I discovered that this restaurant was rated 4.9, I was impressed since restaurants are rarely rated that high. I began researching and learned that the chef had been awarded "Third Best Restaurant in the Country" by Bon Appetite for his restaurant Little Fish. I was determined to check out his newer restaurant Two Fish BYOB, and I selected our hotel for the night accordingly. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find a tiny-but-quaint restaurant with very few tables. (We counted 26 seats.) In fact, the center of the room, which could have been used for more tables, had a large table not suitable for dining. Not being elbow-to-elbow with other diners, and having open space, gave the restaurant an air of sophistication. Our waiter suggested that we try the Sicilian Calamari, for which we were grateful. The calamari actually acted like noodles in this dish; they were that tender. We also shared the Octopus appetizer and Barramundi entree. Both were delicious. We rarely have coffee and dessert after dinner. But we had struck up an interesting conversation with a couple sitting next to us, and we weren't ready for the evening to end. So we shared a chocolate dessert with grilled pineapple. Of course it was delicious. One more thing... Not being from New Jersey, we were pleasantly surprised that we could BYOB. And since we were on our way to the beach, we had plenty of wine in our car. That made for a most affordable dinner.
