My boyfriend surpised me by making the reservation for my 24th birthday. The place was amazing. the ambiance and ythe live band were amazing. The resturant contacted him multiple times to confirm the reservation and ask about any allergies or dietary restrictions.They asked him if there was any special occasion, he told them it was my birthday. There was no wait whne we arrived and were greeted warmly . The omakase room is a speakeasy behind a bookshelf was so fun and the menu was personalized with happy birthday and my boyfriends name as well. this was a 10/10 and we can't stop raving about it to our friends. The best birthday experience/dinner. The plates were delicious like nothing weve tasted before! The chefs and staff were super frriendly and thier attention to detail was phenomenal. The drinks were so so good as well. They brought out a brownie with a candle for my birthday and it was the best brownie ever, every one sang happy birthday and they gave us shots of sake it was a wonderful experince. Do not hesitate to come here it was so worth it. Truly a perfect unforgettable night. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: The staff was very accomadating with my food allergies. My boyfriend made the reservation and they called him to ask if there was any allergies to be aware of. Very lovely of them.

The bar lounge at Two Thirty Six is a phenomenal spot located right in the front, serving as a lively, accessible space before you reach the omakase room hidden behind the speakeasy bookshelves. We waked in and stay in the lounge for their expertly crafted cocktails and the surprisingly delicious bar-menu burger, which makes for a perfect, relaxed alternative to the formal tasting menu. Just note that even this front bar area fills up incredibly fast, so booking ahead is essential! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
