One of the reasons we booked this site was because the restaurant had good reviews. Yelloh restaurants are generally getting worse in our experience so had high hopes for this one. Alas it was a pretty poor showing. The burgers were served in either stale or overcooked buns that basically turned to dust when you tried to eat; the burger itself was watery and tasteless, and the rest of the filling was either missing or almost tasteless too. The fries were served lukewarm and average at best. Overall this was a mediocre experience and with the service being similar I’d have to say this place is really quite overrated. I will concede that maybe a burger is not the best yardstick, but if they can’t do that well I have little faith in their other options. Given the other options in the locale I’d advise guests at the site to just head out into Carentec or beyond. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30

Wir haben im Ty-Coz einen rundum gelungenen Restaurantbesuch erlebt: Die Meeresfrüchte waren frisch, raffiniert zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend – regional, saisonal und liebevoll angerichtet. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Jakobsmuscheln in Beurre-Blanc-Sauce oder das Fischgericht des Tages – direkt von der Auktion in Roscoff. Der Service war schnell, freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Wir hatten einen schönen Platz auf der sonnigen, aber angenehm geschützten Terrasse. Für alle, die lieber im Schatten sitzen, stehen Sonnenschirme bereit. Das Restaurant war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Auch das Bezahlen am Counter verlief absolut unkompliziert. Trotz der hohen Qualität ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut fair – nicht überteuert, sondern angemessen für das Gebotene. Neben raffinierten Fischgerichten gibt es auch bodenständige Optionen wie Filet Mignon mit Flusskrebs-Kokosmilchcreme oder hausgemachte Burger, die hier schon fast Kultstatus haben. Und natürlich dürfen die bretonischen Crêpes nicht fehlen – ob süß oder herzhaft, klassisch oder kreativ interpretiert. Fazit: Ein modernes bretonisches Restaurant mit Herz, Qualität und Atmosphäre. Wer in der Region is(s)t, sollte sich Ty-Coz nicht entgehen lassen.
