Uedaya, located on Nagasaka street in Nabari’s Akamecho area, presents itself as a traditional teahouse that provides a comfortable stop for those visiting the nearby natural attractions. Despite being well-frequented due to its strategic position close to the entrance of the popular Akame 48 Waterfalls, current detailed information about the restaurant remains limited. The eatery appears well suited for a quick visit, thanks to its streamlined service and straightforward offerings.

Visitors can expect to find traditional Japanese items like the infamous Kusa-mochi, noted for maintaining its softness even after a full day. Other available foods include yakimanju alongside typical snack options. Payments are cash only, but convenience is a feature here, as the venue provides free parking. Operating daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, it offers the chance to conveniently purchase meals or modest souvenirs.

--------------------------------------- When I visited Akame 48 Waterfalls, I stopped by on my way home. It looks like a traditional teahouse where you can take a break. It was located closest to the entrance of Akame Falls and was often crowded. There is a sign out front, but it seems that their specialty is Kusa-mochi (grass cake), so I bought some as a souvenir. I was surprised that it was still soft even after eating it the next day after returning home. It was a very simple rice cake.
