After visiting Placa de la Virreina, come here for a meal. Mediterranean and Arabic cuisines are served at this restaurant. Ugarit offers you to try good monkfish, shawarma and chicken. Spend a good time here and share tasty yogurt with your friends. You will be offered delicious mint tea.
The patient staff welcomes people all year round. The enjoyable service is a great plus of this place. Inside, you are to see the lovely decor.

Syrian Restaurant located right near our hostel. Incredible food! We loved it so much, came back the next day! Clara was our waitress, so kind and pleasant. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic Syrian food, great service, and really affordable. What's not to like? Ugarit is a must try when in Gracia. Strange, but there are 4 locations within 500 meters... I don't get that part... The chicken shwarma plate includes 2 falafels, hummus and a choice of another side - It was a huge amount of food. Chicken was moist and flavorful and both hummus and mattabal were delcious. The falafels were a bit dry. You will have to pay for pita bread which isn't included =( Chicken shwarma sandwiches (bocadillos) were also a huge hit.. It's a bargain for under 5 euros! Save room for dessert because the bakalavas were so good! I had the postre uragit and it comes with a glass of sparking white wine. Sabroso! Again, the service was great. They also gave me complimentary mint tea. Thanks & I will be back!

The service was good. I don't particularly eat lots of Syrian food, but this restaurant served average food. The people were friendly. The restaurant looked really clean. Their decoration and layout was fine. The food looked good and my chicken Sharma was moist and flavorful! The plates were huge. The pita bread was really soft and thin. The price was average,(not cheap and not expensive) At the end of your meal, they will give you some sparkling wine and a really nice cup of mint tea (the tea was a bit bitter for me). But you may like it. Save space for baklava because it is amazing! Don't ask for desserts like ice cream or anything like that. Ask for a Syrian dessert (I have made this mistake! Don't do it). I would surely come back another day.
