I can't wait for this place to open back up. The all wood bar is fantastic, complete with Art Deco stained glass. Genuinely, a trip back in time. The bartenders, Thui and Rachelle rock. They go out of their way to be friendly and remembered our names and our beef preferences. Very good selection of on draft beers. The food is good. It's not fantastic. Certain items on the menu are significantly better than others. Their potato pancakes are a true winner. Honestly, all of the German dishes (sausages, etc) are worth ordering. We come here for the fantastic ambience, good service. It's right next to the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and lots of working folks stop by for a beer after work. An old timey neighborhood bar steeped in history. Stop bye!

Came here with 2 colleagues on our lunch break. The outdoor seating was pleasant. They had a limited menu for their reopening and I got the turkey club sandwich. It was good. The sandwich had kinda low quality yellow American cheese which threw me off a bit, I didn't think it was the best choice to compliment the sandwich. Probably any other kind of cheese would have been better. The fries were fresh and crispy and the service was prompt and staff friendly! Overall had a good experience here.
