The first time I came here, I drove an hour just to try the food. Google said they were open, but they ended up closing early and only serving the breakfast menu, which was a bummer. The second time around, they were fully open. I ordered the traditional tonkotsu ramen and the chicken sando. Even though it was right around lunchtime, the place was pretty empty—only a couple of other people were waiting—but the food still took a really long time to come out. some of the best matcha in town with cool, unique flavours! haven’t been able to try the food yet because it often sells out, but that’s a sign that it’s great. always love stopping in during my walks to grab a drink :) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I tried the Yuzu Shoyu Chicken Ramen at Umami Kitchen, and it was absolutely amazing. The broth was light yet full of flavor with a beautiful hint of yuzu that made every sip refreshing. The grilled chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, and the soft-boiled egg was spot on, rich and creamy inside. The toppings like bamboo shoots and green onions added great texture and balance. It felt like such a comforting, high-quality bowl of ramen. Definitely one of the best I’ve had recently, will be coming back for sure! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
