The portion of fried chicken was generous. I enjoyed the soup and the fried rice we took home. I wish I'd known enough Japanese to ask for some of the other items on the menu that looked really good, but I chose to play it safe. I've been going there for almost 14 years since it opened after being introduced to it by a friend who is a gourmet. When you want to eat delicious and filling food, go to Umiyuri. I think there are many fried chicken fans, and I am one of them. The vermicelli and stir-fried tofu and garlic must not be missed. I always buy homemade beef jerky as a souvenir.
