Order malaysian chicken curry. But got potato curry. We have to swim in the curry to find chicken . Before they used to give us good portion. Now they giving potato instead of chicken. They should replace the name as potato curry. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

VERY DODGY!!! Tried to scam me by overcharging the steam rice by the bowl (even though the menu states "per head")!. I challenged this and argued with the lady owner, she again tried lying by saying that the issue was with the translation between Chinese language and English. She said: in Chinese, "rice per head" means "rice per bowl", and not per person. What a load of bullshit! After more argument, she again had another try by saying the menu they had were the old version and not the new version. But the new menu is nowhere to be found! So there you go, THREE lies within the one visit. Total scam artist! So please check your bill before you pay, or you will get scammed and pay too much! My first and last time going to this place, I will stick to Billy Lee's at the other aisle. Billy Lee's had much better food, much better service, and for cheaper too. The reason why I went here in the first place was because I went on a Monday, and only just realised that Billy Lee's closes on Mondays. Stay away from Uncle Billy's Chinese Restaurant fellas, you will thank me later! Edit - also noticed another review complaining about the same thing. Sounds to me like they have always been doing this, and have always gotten away with it so far! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

First time we went a few years ago was very good. Tonight was terrible! Had to ask for menus after waiting for 10 minutes, then ordered white wine and a beer. Wine eventually arrived (warm) but in an ice bucket, but no glasses and no beer. Five minutes later had to ask yet again. Went to open wine and found it was the wrong wine, luckily it wasn’t opened. Soup arrived and was very tasty, but two mouthfuls later our mains arrived, which we asked to be brought out when we had finished our soup! The service was terrible despite waiters passing our table frequently. The place was quite and appeared to have more staff than customers. So Sadly we will not return and would not recommend. I don’t normally write a review but I felt Uncle Billy needs to hear this feedback so they can make some changes to improve their service. The food was actually okay.
