The Union was one of the highlights of our trip. We walked in with no expectations. We had the tasting menu and got a complement unexpected surprise. It was absolutely spectacular from start to finish and one of the best meals we've had in a very long time. We would go back without hesitation. Had an excellent evening meal at the Union Rye. Our server Karrissa provided us with her expertise of the menu, breaking each dish down piece by piece. The food was served to perfection with each dish providing seasonal flavours paired with a unique flair. A standout was the Pollock skewer and Ray Wing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a foodie experience in Rye! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £60–70

Visited this restaurant by chance not knowing anything about the modern concept but going on the welcoming look of the place. The staff were great and took time to explain the menu sharing concept with recommendations. No disappointment, the food was excellent, lovely flavours and well presented We needed to have time to get to a concert by 7.00pm and so we arrived early. The staff were brilliant accommodating our schedule without rushing. We will certainly be back and recommend it to our friends.
