This was our first time in to Union Social. Our waiter was so kind. It took a while to decide what to try and he was very patient. He recommended the pretzel bite. They did not disappoint. The outside was slightly crispy and the inside was soft and chewy. It came with cheese sauce and a ground mustard that tasted like horseradish was mixed in. Delicious. We also tried the wings with the house rub. The manager said the rub was the most popular flavor and I can see why. If you've ever eaten lays BBQ potato chips and licked your fingers afterward, that would best describe the dry rub. Sweet, salty, smoky. Last we tried the Philly cheese steak egg rolls. While they were good, I have to say the wings stole the show. I am looking forward to going back to try their entrees. Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The place is nice, good music good vibes. Food was good! We had an issue with one of our entrees, the waitress was super apologetic and had them re make it. The manager came over to apologize and took it off the bill. I love that he checked in on us! The waitress was very professional & nice. The reason I’m not giving a five start is the very very limited menu between 2-4. I feel like I was forced to eat a smash burger because there was only 3 or 4 other entrees to pick from that I didn’t want. (Which not complaint the smash burger was amazing.) Give more lunch options and this place would be a 5 star. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went for dinner on a Friday (upstairs restaurant not the speakeasy). We got seated immediately (had reservation) even though we were early, so that was nice, especially since they were very busy. Drinks took a while to come out and one was wrong, but it was fixed quick enough. Server didn't know what the soup of the day was. Firecracker shrimp were nice and crispy. Caesar salad was made with a vinaigrette style dressing and pine nuts, it was a nice change from the typical Caesar salad. Salmon was overcooked, bland and served with potatoes that were also bland, instead of the polenta cake like the menu says. The stroganoff was really good, very flavorful and a good portion. Manager did check on us. Overall it was just an ok dinner experience but I think we will stick to either lunch or sitting at the bar next time.
