Food is good. Service is fast. Give you a lot of portions and it's always busy. So you know what's good. Have been quite loyal to Lumberjack, as I love their steak and eggs, and their dinners are pretty good too. But, on New Year's Day, it was way too busy. So, as a few on this list have done, we went over to Uptown. It was also quite packed, but they got us in swiftly. The decor is pretty cheesy, but who cares?! The breakfast was GREAT! Gf and I both got eggs benedict (which anywhere else would not fill me up) so I added sausages as a side. Eggs benedict were amazing, egg cooked perfectly, and the peameal was thick and juicy. Hollandaise was great too, and there was a lot (maybe too much for some). The potatoes were excellent too! Seasoned well and they're almost red from the seasoning but delicious. Now to the sausages, HUGE! and delicious. Almost made me feel a little inadequate. I mean my appetite! lol It's hard to find good breakfast sausages, so my gf and I have come up with: The Sausage Power Rankings! 1-Uptown Restaurant 2- Lumberjack 3-Walker Grill 4-MCM/Roast n Toast 5-The Leaf 6-Twisted Apron (weird bespoke disc shaped ones) 7- Bakers (all bad)
