I stayed at Uyut Hotel in Almaty from 29 April to 7 May 2026. The room was large, quiet and comfortable, and I enjoyed my stay. A big reason for that was Ula at the front office. He was consistently cheerful, responsive and extremely helpful throughout my stay. Since I don’t speak Kazakh or Russian, his fluent English made things much easier. As a hiker, I especially appreciated his recommendations on hiking routes and his help in pinpointing exact Yandex drop-off locations. At one point I needed to prepone my flight to Delhi and couldn’t reach the airline myself. Ula managed to get it done quickly through his contacts. I also noticed him being equally helpful to other guests, not just me. People like him shape how visitors experience a city. He is a real asset to the hotel and deserves recognition for his professionalism and attitude. I’ll definitely visit Almaty again. Thank you, Ula.
