Terrific seafood in the heart of Trastevere. The squid appetizers (both of them) were phenomenal. Pasta was very good, but the seafood shined. The rooftop terrace was comfortable on a hot day, although the seating (plastic chairs and hard bench) wasn’t the most comfortable. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: €30–40

We had our wedding feast with Mario and everyone at VII Coorte, and it was a dream! The food was incredible, and they went above and beyond to make it a beautiful affair that was also comfortable and fun. We felt like we were being hosted by family. They really went all-out for us, and we had the most amazing afternoon of our lives. Mario and the staff truly are concerned that they do their best for you, and the care that goes into every detail is rarely seen in the States. Their outdoor patio is gorgeous and semi-private, so you do feel like you're having a family festa at a relative's home. The other guests there joined in the fun and we all were celebrating la dolce vita. I truly did feel like a princess that day. I look forward to going back as much as I possibly can when we're in Rome. Grazie a tutti! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
