I was initially attracted to Petr | because of the thoughtful plant arrangement outside on the decking. It has an interesting mix of floral and fish related touches.I sat outside with the weather being lovely. The staff were an interesting mix. The bar staff were upbeat and jovial while the serving staff were a little stern. Food was traditional, hearty and filling. Just like most Moldovan restaurants, food took a while to be served. I recommend the Apple Strudel. A freshly prepared master piece served with ice cream and worth the 30 minute wait.An enjoyable and relaxed lunch time experience.

Petr I has one of Chisinau's best selections of Russian food. Excellent olivier salad and pelmeni. Sweet kvass seems to come free with every meal.
