My boyfriend and I decided to go have lunch at Vacaciones because a couple of friends recommended this place. We’re not sure if we didn’t order the right things but none of the dishes we had was impressive or worth our friends hype. Our favorite thing was the focaccia, amazingly soft. We also had the tomato salad which has a great portion of tomatoes, something we appreciate, but the flavor was just like cutting plain tomatoes at home. The fish with mashed potatoes sounded original so we ordered but at the end was also just like any other we had in the city. We decided not to have dessert since the previous dishes weren’t great. I would say the food is okay. Not terrible or bad. We had a good time anyways because the restaurant decoration feels unique and the waiter offered dessert on the house (which we didn’t take).
