Terrible customer service, I went on a Friday afternoon at lunch time. They were out of everything worth getting. I was told to wait 10 mins for rice, I waited and they still hadn't stocked it. Employees clearly hate their jobs and it shows. Not worth it. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I have been looking forward to going to Vale Food Co for quite some time. I love the make your own meal concept plus the fact it's a small business owner that has been able to expand their concept. It pains me to write this review, but Vale Food Co is easily one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. Their menu online looked great - except they didn't have a significant portion of their menu in person. They didn't have the vegan chorizo, guacamole , spicy tuna, and 5 of the 7 sauces weren't available. The food was so over salted and lacked other flavors, I couldn't eat more than two bites of it. But I wanted to give it a chance so I tried a couple of more bites but had to throw my whole bowl away - I hate to waste food but I wouldn't even give this food to a food bank to serve. They had empty drink dispensers that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a month. The employees were disengaged and didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Perhaps some of the other Vale Food Co locations take more pride in their product and service, but I cannot recommend the Jacksonville location.
