Van Express is hands down the best Vietnamese food in the city. Not “pretty good,” not “for the price” — just flat-out excellent every single time. The food is consistently unreal, portions are generous, and everything tastes like it was made by someone who actually cares (because it is). Van is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, and his daughters are just as warm and welcoming. You can tell the whole family takes real pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail. This place is an absolute gem. If you haven’t been yet, fix that. If you have, you already know. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This restaurant is, BY FAR, the best, most cost effective, well runned restaurant I've visited to date in Calgary. A must-try for their vermicelli bowls & subs. The customer service is unreal and they will have your food ready in mere minutes. 10 out of 10 for me. Take my paycheque - I love this place!

We ordered food for lunch in the office. Everybody liked it. Very fresh, very tasty, big portions, affordable prices.
