Well, vapiano is vapiano. You either like the whole concept or not. They specialise in pasta dishes, pizza, and Italian type salads. You order in front of your cook, which will prepare it in front of you, and pick up yourself. Drinks choices is limited but they have a couple healthy cold teas on choice. I stopped at this vapiano restaurant while on the international long-distance bus to Vienna and since I was travelling many hours already, I was happy to find this vapiano restaurant as it is located just one level above the international bus station hacker Bridge ("Hackerbrücke"). My bus stopped there for one hour, so there was no time to take the S-Bahn (trains) to the city center. As an alternative you can find bakeries for sandwiches and pastries or you can go to MacDonald's (small restaurant!) so, if you want a "somewhat decent restaurant" where you can sit and eat quietly, then vapiano might be a good choice if don't have time to walk around. Let's say it this way... It is a concept mix between fast food and restaurant. I would go there again.
