She gave us the cheeses to try before buying and it was awesome to see such an enthusiastic vegan Woman.????
Barbara is super friendly and it was great talking to her, especially about the difficulties being the only vegan store among Carnist stalls in the market. Its existence is quite symbolic consider the fact that the nearby MACRO museum is housed in what used to be the “famous” Testaccio slaughterhouse.
If you are visiting Rome, do make the effort and pay this place a visit, highly recommended.
