Very dissapointing. Went with my boyfriend and was shocked about meat being served at a restaurant on whos cash register has a sticker that says "thanks for choosing vegan" and employees with shirts that say "think about food differently" on the back. Theres nothing to think about differently. I know of the rebrand but its completely unnecessary as there are many vegans in Latvia. If i wanted to go to a meat serving restaurant that has vegan options, i would go to any other restaurant in Galeria Centrs. Meat eaters are NOT a dietary minority that needs to be specifically catered to. There is nothing special about this restaurant other then it being extremely hypocritical. I dont believe that anyone went to your server and asked for meat at a vegan restaurant, these 'demand changes' which are used for reasoning to the menu change is absolute BS. Tell me a why a fully vegan restaurant like Mazā Terapija (which isnt that far from Galeria) always has customers and is very successful? Vegstop plus is an extremely two-faced restaurant that should simply file for bankruptcy. Ever since their rebrand, vegans of Latvia hate you. Maybe thats the reason you dont have any customers. Harsh, but true. If youre someone whos thinking about going to Vegstop Plus, lets not support this hypocrital restaurant who is using veganism as a marketing gimmick. They have completely lost the plot to what veganism means as both a lifestyle, diet and philosophy. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: €10–15

Thank you for your aggressive—extremely aggressive—review. I sincerely hope that you do not represent Latvia’s entire vegan and vegetarian community, on whose behalf you have taken it upon yourself to claim that the whole vegan community now hates us.Once again, we would like to clarify that Vegstop Plus is a concept currently operating at Galerija Centrs, and this concept non fully vegan now, but at off-site locations, and at events where our participation is relevant and appropriate - we continue working to promote veganism as Vegstop brand because we believe this is important. This situation has once again confirmed that we clearly distinguish between veganism, vegetarianism, and fanaticism—which is very often devoid of any reasonable meaning. Our slogans New Way To Think About Food and Comfort in Every Bite, reflect our direction and vision better than ever.We will be ready to speak with you when you have gained more experience, wisdom, humility, and patience—particularly when you are older, have undergone medical tests, and understand the consequences of the strict form of vegetarianism that you so passionately advocate. In our restaurant, we strictly follow the standards for separating vegan and non-vegan food preparation, and we are achieving the goals we have set for ourselves. We will not declare bankruptcy simply because you would like us to and as you wish. We operate without any outstanding tax debts. Our business in Latvia . The fact that we have been operating continuously under the same legal entity since 2019 demosntrates that we are moving in the right direction and doing so successfully. If you are referring to a particular restaurant, I recommend checking the Lursoft database and reviewing the actual performance of that business. We always welcome vegans to our establishment because we know that vegans, vegetarians, and their friends who do not share the same views will all be well fed here. With Best wishes , Vegstop Team

The food was okay, but when a vegan person comes here with the name being "Vegstop" you would assume that everything here is vegan, nope. There is chicken and shrimp avaliable. But why, if there are other places next to it that offer the same, be different and live up to your name. If you say you are vegan, then be. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: €10–15 Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options avaliable, but there are also non vegetarian so be on the lookout. Dietary restrictions: There are vegan options. Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: It is easily accessable by wheelchair

Our name is Vegstop Plus now, indicating that we're much broader than just veganism. Supply determines demand. And being a vegan food court just for the sake of two vegans a day definitely doesn't make sense. We adhere to all the rules regarding separate preparation, and we're also the only one offering gluten-free options.

Typical food court place. Unfortunately, they dont have any burgers anymore. Menu photos on Google are very outdated. Considering they’re called “vegstop” it’s a bit weird only less than half of the menu is actually vegan (or even vegetarian), so a bit sus. I had the pad thai since there were no burgers anymore. It was pretty good except for the vegan chicken that tasted VERY MUCH like pieces from a real chicken and weirded me out a bit, but that’s of course personal taste. Attendant was friendly, and I didn’t wait long. Smoothie was good, prices are good. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €15–20
