This is still one of my favorite hidden gems in Burlingame. Actual real hospitality, great wines, a great vibe that's perfect for a solo glass, date night or hanging with friends. Such a great selection of coveted wines for purchase too! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Velvet 48 Wine Bar is a fabulous wine bar in downtown Burlingame. When I visited I was blown away by the complementary sparkling wine welcome all guests enjoy, their stunning interior design and amazing wine list. Some of my favorite's included the Champagne by the glass including Krug & Billecart (two of my favorite's) as well as their amazing still wines by the glass. The food is also delicious with cheese plates, a baked brie I loved and other tasty bites.Any wine lover must check out Velvet 48 and you'll love it as much as I do. And be sure to engage with the staff, they're super nice, very experienced and know so much great knowledge about wine to share with guests!
