LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Ventura BBQ CO. I cannot say enough about how fantastic Roger and his team were for our wedding! The food was seriously AMAZING!! Our guests raved about it and NO ONE had a cold plate of food. For our wedding we got three meats, mac & cheese, salad, beans, coleslaw and bread. Everything was so delicious plus, we had a veggie burger option for our non-meat eating friends. These wonderful folks listened to all my crazy Pinterest ideas about what I wanted to serve and how I wanted to present it... all with excellent customer service. In addition to the dinner we also had appetizers with my custom request of BACON on a stick... yes bacon lol and man did they deliver!!! I think I ate about 4 sticks of bacon lol. They also did our beverage service and made the most delicious s'mores dessert bars! These people are so kind, friendly, hardworking, professional and they know what they are doing! 15/10 stars, and I will be using them again for any big parties in the future. Thank you again for being the most awesome food vendor we could have ever had for our wedding day.

This is literally the best BBQ I've ever had in all of California. Yes, BETTER THAN WOOD RANCH! And I'm a die hard fan... I remember I got a couple meats on my plate expecting some to be hit some to be miss.... BUT THEY ALL FUCKIN SSSLLAAAAPPPPEDDD!!!!! I was surprised I couldn't even pick a favorite cuz it was all SO GOOD!! Also surprised cuz I was probably their last customer of the day and sometimes BBQ esp in CA at the end of the day is not so bueno..... SO FUCKING BUENOOOOOO Reminded me of living in the south My soul has been yearning to have a taste of the outstanding BBQ since I left the south but man this stuff is some real deal BBQ rodeo I've been aching to come back... I always happen to ache most on Tuesday when they're not open... but that's okay, don't waste your time on food from The Look Out (unless it's a pretzel) grab some grub from this gem. (MAC N CHEESE AND SLAW ARE ON POINT FOR YOU VEGGIES OUT THER!!)

Nice friendly staff, portions are decent sized, pulled pork sandwich wasn’t very good, Mac and cheese wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t call it Mac and cheese it was more like butter noodles with whatever seasoning they put on the top, fries were nothing special, “spicy” bbq sauce was more sweet than spice. Overall I would not return again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
