The whole experience was off-putting, honestly. I went here to get brunch from Venus. I walked in and was immediately overwhelmed by the smell of the giant steaming Indian buffet against the wall next to the door. I love Indian food, but I don't want to smell it when I'm eating other foods. So this Venus/Khana Peena combo restaurant makes absolutely no sense to me, at all. The coffee was good. The ricotta pancakes and bacon that I had were very good. No complaints about the food at all. The service was sparse. I sat for quite a while after I was done before anyone checked on me. I might come back here for the Indian food, but I won't be back to Venus Solano. The smell was just too much for me.
